It must have been one of my lucky days when I met Isabell on that train last year and didn’t hesitate to approach her (okay, that’s not true – I did hesitate, but in the end I made it). More than a year later we met again after some vain attempts (busy student’s life).
A huge thank you to my love who – not for the first time – removed a few ticks and searched my whole head for more (which is some work due to my rather long hair).
Now I’ve some behind the scenes pictures for you, the final images will follow soon. First of all it’s Isabell’s lovely smile…

… and her not so lovely gesture when she killed an insect trying to bite her. Yes, that’s what outdoor photography is like – no fun at all. Really. ;)

And finally there’s my really great invention to make the reflector do what I want and not what gravity wants.

What I didn’t photograph:

• The millions of insects we seemed to disturb in their lazy afternoon nap and which in return tried to disturb our project.
• Nice people walking by and reminding us of all these nasty ticks. (Yes, we know that but we decided to forget about it for some hours.)
• A before and after of the location: removed branches and thorn bushes, all the grass we stamped down, stuff scattered around like reflectors, a ladder, a punnet of strawberries, a huge amount of tulle and I don’t know what else – I hope, we didn’t forget anything.
