New Year’s Lottery

Posted in Other on January 1st, 2011 | 11 Comments

The third year in a row I made a calendar as a gift for my family and loved ones. This year I happen to have one left over and it’s desperately searching for a new home since 2011 has started today. So if you want a 14 x 17 cm calendar with the following pictures inside, just comment here or on my facebook page until January, 6th.

2011

You cannot buy this calendar and it won’t be reprinted. Of course I will send it for free. Now good luck and I wish you all the best for 2011. May all your wishes come true and your plans be successful. I’m looking forward to meeting new people, taking new pictures and advancing a lot in my studies of biology. I plan to visit Berlin since some lovely people moved there last year and I’m curious to what else is going to happen.

Finally some advertising: “May art give you wings to fly” is the title of Laylas Blog where you can find another short interview, just click. Be sure to check out her other recommendations, too, you’ll explore some great artists for sure. :)

Advent calendar

Janasworld Adventskalender 2010 Christmas is coming closer and closer every day. We had some early snow at the end of November – I can’t remember any birthday of mine to be white but this year everything looked like a winter wonderland outside. (By now looots of rain has washed everything away, it’s a pity.) I love this time of the year because it never feels better to hold a cup of tea or hot chocolate and eat lots of sweets, snuggling to your loved one.
When I was a child my mother never failed to prepare an Advent calender for me. There were 24 small bags or boxes and every morning I was allowed to have a look at one of them before going to school. Now I might be too old, but taking part in Janasworld‘s Advent calendar brought back some great memories.
You find some pictures and an interview with me behind today’s window. Unfortunately it’s a German website again, but for those of you with unlimited curiosity I’m sure you can find a translator somewhere on the internet. :)

Provence

Provence

I spent two weeks in beautiful Provence. As you already know I took some pictures of my sister there. But surprisingly I took some nature shots, too, so see for yourself four new pictures in “unterwegs” (German for “on the road”). In addition I uploaded one very old picture from the beginning of summer. Find lavender with some beautiful water bokeh in “natur” (quite obviously the German word for “nature”).
