What feels best is not only to take beautiful pictures but to have them used (in an appropriate way). So taking promo pictures for Daniel Schmidts solo project “Djitó” was great. I would love to meet the guy who held Diana off modelling – how could he?! She’s not that kind of treasure which should be kept in a secret chest.
Her amazing red hair, the gorgeous heart-shaped hairline, her delicate hands and spine and the freckles all over her face and arms – I love every millimetre of her. But not only the genes did like her, she’s also such a beautiful person and I could spend all day with her. Thank you for your trust and everything else. Hope to see you again very soon!

This is beautiful Anna who visited me in October and we shared a lovely afternoon. She hasn’t got any modelling experience but during our session she really came to life and managed to relax in front of my camera. The picture’s mood is dreamy once again but this shouldn’t make you think we didn’t have fun… :)

I keep getting e-mails from people asking which software I used to create my website. And I’m really sorry for all of them because the only thing I can tell them is that I did it myself. Everything. The design as well as the small CMS behind it. Only this blog is a WordPress blog because I became lazy over the years. ;)

Even though I’m mostly happy with my website I’m constantly rethinking the concept. If you click on one of the pictures in this post you’ll see the large version with a hand-picked background colour – and I’m not sure how many of my visitors explore this view (which in fact exists for every picture on my website). And because this individual colour always brings the pictures to life I want to have it on the main site, too. Any ideas how to do this? I’m sure you know some inspirational photography websites – show me, please!

Since we met twice in winter, we now wanted to do the complete opposite – flowers. So we met at Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg, picked lots of flowers and stuff and made two lovely girdles of flowers. I just love her face and how the flowers emphasize its best features.

The “back seat” of a bike might not be too comfortable, at least my thighs were hurting for a few days after the shooting. But every second of pain was worth it to get these pictures. Nelly is an amazing girl – her face catches the light beautifully, her poses are flawless and long story short I’m over the moon that we finally got together.
Thanks a lot to our glitter man Tomas Miller (because yes, this glittery bokeh is not created digitally but is “real” to the last circle).

These pictures from my second shooting in Berlin with lovely Lea definitely don’t look like they have been taken in that creepy park in Berlin. Exhibitionists trying to get our attention, old men trying to do strange gymnastics, young man trying to bond with us. I guess that’s how life is like in big cities. Maybe I prefer the small town flair. ;)

Back in August I had the pleasure to accompany Adi & Myong who celebrated their wedding in a gorgeous mansion in Alsace. Thank you so much for your trust and all the best for you both!

Not until I had tried it once more I realized how difficult indoor photography is. The horribly limited point of views who combine not only a nice background, but also nice light and are accessible (meaning e.g. not a few meters into the next flat) totally wear me down. Luckily Anka is such a great model who compensated all this and who knows, maybe one day I’ll be comfortable indoor, too. :)

Okay, so we’re having a terrible summer this year and everybody is hoping for sun, but it’s not fair to have a wonderful summer day now of all day when I want to shoot. And even better, it was a mix of sun and clouds so every second shot the light changed completely. Yay. The good thing is: it didn’t rain. And since you should always look at the bright side we enjoyed ourselves and had a great afternoon. Thanks my dear!
